- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The only reason I am giving 1 star is because there is not an option for zero. My dog had a really bad tick bite on his neck that was bleeding really bad.. like non-stop pouring out bad for about 20 minutes at around 930pm tonight, so I looked up 24 hr vets in Wichita falls and got the number to this place. So from there I get an after hours number, and when I called, I was asked if I was a regular client. When I said no, I was told that the vet would not come in unless I was a client. What kind of stuff is that?! So when I ask her if there is anything I could do at home, I got the "Sorry. I'm not a vet, I can't help you." So I asked if there are any other 24hr vets in town I could call? "No.. this is the only one. Sorry." WTF?! Luckily, after applying pressure for another 30 minutes, cleaning the area with alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, and putting a gauze pad and ace bandage on it, the bleeding finally stopped and my mutt is fine..But shame on this place.
